This page explains exactly what data airware collects, how it is used, and how you stay in control.

Data we collect

airware does not require an account and does not collect any personal information. The only data the app accesses is your device location (GPS) to fetch air quality data for your area. This location data is sent to the weather and air quality API to retrieve live readings — it is not stored on our servers, shared with third parties for advertising, or linked to your identity.

Location permission

airware requests access to your device location solely to show you live air quality data for your current position. You can also search any city manually without granting location permission. Location data is never stored or logged by us.

Analytics & crash reporting

We use anonymous crash reporting to improve app stability. This data contains no personally identifiable information — only device type, OS version, and error context.

Advertising

airware may display ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings.

Third-party services

airware fetches air quality, pollen, UV, and weather data from third-party APIs. These services receive your approximate location to return relevant data. They operate under their own privacy policies.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to access, export, or delete from our servers. You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings. Revoking location permission only means you will need to search cities manually — all other features continue to work.
